I Said Spain Would Win the World Cup

On July 19, Spain beat Argentina 1-0 in New Jersey and lifted the World Cup. Back when the whole world was still guessing, I put my answer on the record: Spain.

The question everyone was asking

All year, the same question kept finding me - in readings, in messages, in the comments: who wins the World Cup? Forty-eight teams. Three host countries. Every expert had a different answer, and every fan had a favourite.

So I did what I always do. I sat with it the way I sit with every reading. No teams, no stats, no opinions. Just quiet.

What I put on the record

What came through was one clear picture, seen through the third eye: red and gold, and a trophy raised under the lights.

So I said it plainly: Spain will win the World Cup.

I do not share predictions to prove anything, and I would never claim to be right every time - spirit is not a scoreboard. I simply describe what comes through, exactly as I receive it, and I let the outcome speak for itself.

The night it came true

On Sunday, July 19, in front of more than 80,000 people at the final in East Rutherford, New Jersey, Spain and Argentina went the distance. Regular time could not separate them. Then one goal - Ferran Torres, in extra time - decided everything. Spain 1, Argentina 0. Champions of the world, for the second time in their history.

Red and gold, and a trophy raised under the lights. Exactly the picture.
